Working on putting the siding on.

Tonight Matt and Casey had rehearsal for their wedding. Everyone was there and was ready to go. The church looked real nice. From there we went to Rivers Edge for rehearsal dinner. Everyone had a great time visiting with each other and great food.

Then we went to the hall and put up some decorations. The hall looks gorgeous! Matt looked a little tired. He has been working hard and then going to their house and helping out there. He came home before midnight so he wouldn't see Casey and went to bed to get some sleep!!

Tomorrow is a big day!! Matt and Casey's wedding, 10/30/10! Congratulations to Matt & Casey!!
May God bless this marriage with love and happiness.

Thank you to everyone for all your continued thoughts and prayers!

Great Weekend!

Matt went for his third chemo treatment in Fort Atkinson. He went to Fort Hospital for tests first. His numbers were all good so we could go to the clinic and get his chemo treatment. Matt will now take two weeks off for his wedding. After that on November 1 he starts with his new insurance. We will be back in Johnson Creek Cancer Center on November 1. He planned for his tumor marker test on November 16 and Doctor appointment on November 17 with Dr. Holen. He is tired but feeling good.

Matt said he has a lot of last minute wedding things to do this week. Matt and Ryan also worked Sunday on building walls in Matt & Casey's house.

On Saturday Matt was able to go to "World Class Driving US Tour 2010" with help from Lyle, from J & L tire. He needed someone 25 years and older so he took Ryan along with him. They had to to to Lake Geneva for the day. Matt got to drive a Ferrari F430 Coupe, Lamborghini Superleggera, Mercedes-Benz SLR Mclaren, Benley Supersports, Audi R8 V10. Matt thought his favorite ride was the Audi R8 V10.

Chemo in Fort Atkinson

Matt has ended insurance on September 30th with Federated. Now his primary is Dean Care for the month of October. He is looking for 3 treatments in October from Dean Care and then his new insurance takes over November 1.

Johnson Creek cancer center is not a Dean Care Provider. We have tried to get Dean Care to let Matt continue his chemo treatments in Johnson Creek. They decided that he should stay in network and go to a Dean Care Treatment center in Fort Atkinson. So for the month of October Matt will have his treatments in Fort Atkinson. He is having 3 treatments and taking off the Friday, the 29th for Rehearsal night and he is taking off the following Friday so Matt and Casey can take a weekend to themselves.

Matt had his first treatment today in Dean Specialty Clinic. The clinic is a few blocks from the hospital. Matt saw Dr. Amit Sanyal. He gave Matt a good once over. He checked him out from head to toe. He says he likes to watch his patients closely. Matt has to have labs the next two weeks before he gets his treatments. He has to go to Fort Atkinson Hospital for labs a half hour before he gets his chemo treatment. The treatment center is smaller than Johnson Creek but all the people we met today were really nice and very helpful.

"Trust", When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise. (Psalm 56:3)
