Happy Anniversary, Happy Halloween

October 30, 2012 was a little difficult to get through.  This would have been Matt and Casey's second wedding anniversary. Instead had to visit Matt's grave site.  Myles has been a blessing!  He looks so much
like his Dad!  He tends to have some of his Dad's habits.  He is a great tooter!!!

Myles went trick or treating with his cousins, Gavin and Zane.  Gavin was Vat in the Hat and Myles was Thing 1 and Zane was Thing 2.  They all went to visit Myles other cousin Colby.

Now that Casey is back teaching Myles goes to his Aunt's on Monday's, Grandma Linda on Tuesday and I was fortunate to stay part time so I can watch Myles and my niece's little girl on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday.  Myles has been a great baby.  He loves to eat.  Can't get the food ready for him fast enough!  He loves to have tummy time.

Today Myles went to his cousin's Zane Baptism.  Casey is God Mother for Zane.  Myles decided during middle of church to fill his diaper.  He smells like his Dad too!!

At Myles 2 month check up Myles is now 12 lbs 8 oz!  He is growing like a weed.  He wants to get

tall like his Daddy.

Myles is a joy and blessing to our family!  We pray he continues to grow and  have a healthy life.

Headstone

Casey has done amazing job on Matt's headstone!  I could not have imagine that they can draw pictures and then engrave them on a headstone.  The picture looks just like Matt and his car looks great also!  Such details they can do, just amazing!!

It was raining the day I took the pictures so on the words on the back some of the letters are a little wet but the words are perfect!  I thought the sayings she picked out were spot on.  I really miss my son but we love having little Myles to remind us of him every day!!







God has taken Matt in body but his spirit lives on in all of us!  God please watch over Matt's family as
we all try to deal with missing Matt in our own ways!

Myle's Baptism

Myles was baptized on September 30, 2012 at St..Paul's Lutheran Church.  Myles joined the Church of the Lord today. What a great day.  The weather was beautiful! What a great day to Join the Lords family.

Matt would be so proud on this special Day.  Myles wore the same baptismal gown that his Dad wore.  Casey is a great Mom!  Myles is growing like a weed.  He is such a happy baby!  Matt and Casey have done a great job with Myles!

Unbreakable Hero

Your spirits are always glowing,

that famous smile you never stop showing,

you have a will that cant be measured,

only one that can truly be treasured,

you live your life everyday,

never knowing whats coming along the way,

i know everytime i see your face,

my mind begins to race,

wondering how with what your going through,

not showing it even effects you,

yes there are hero's out there,

but to you they dont compare,

you are a person who is truly unbreakable,

for that we are all greatfull,

you are the one who i admire greatly,

no others come close as of lately,

to me you will never be a zero,

Myles is One Month old!

Myles saw the Doctor for his one month check up.  Myles is now 10 lbs and 8 oz.  He grew half an inch.  He is now 21 inches long.  He is doing GREAT!

I think there are a lot of similarities. Myles has been such a good baby for Casey.  He sleeps

6 hours at a time and wakes up and eats some and sleeps for another 3 hours.

I had a dream that seemed so real.  I dreamt that Myles was fussing and was hungry.  I saw Matt

scoop him up and rock him and get him back to sleep so Casey would not wake up.  I truly believe

that Matt is there helping Casey!!

Myles also has a new cousin.  Christine was able to stand up in her sister, Jenny's wedding.  She made

it through the cemeroy but by the time she got to the hall for the dinner she was having lots of pain.  Chad

her husband took her to Madison where her doctor was.  Christine had the baby the next early morning.

We thank God every day for this Miracle baby! Matt would be so proud of Casey and Myles!!!

Myles is doing great!

Myles has been a great baby!  He has been sleeping nights 4,5 and 6 hours at a time.  Casey says he is eating well.  You can see it by how big he is growing.

Myles is here!

Myles decided to come a week early!  Myles was born on August 16, 2012 at 12:56 am.  He is
8lbs 1.4oz and he is 20.5 inches long.  He has been a great little baby.  He hardly cries!  He cried
when he got his first bath though.

Casey went into labor around 4:00 pm on August 15.  Casey was great during the labor.  Myles decided to wait until 12:56 to be born.  I even got to cut the umbilical cord!!
