Matt has been resting this afternoon but feeling much better than last week. Dr. Stoddard, his surgeon, came to see Matt this afternoon. She said he can have liquids but has to take it slow. No solid food yet! So hopefully he starts passing gas and he can get out of here quicker.

Glad to see that you are doign well after this surgey. I will call your Mom tomorrow and see if you are still at the hospital. If so I will try to stop in for a visit and try to sneak some grapes and apple juice past those nurses of yours!! :)

I was happy to hear that surgery went well...We pray for a speedy recovery. Hopefully I'll get up to see you before you are released. We are busy with soccer pratices, baseball scrimmages, and on Thursday evening the "learning Expo" at school. Tommy has a booth with a friend about the Army and Navy. Kitty and Jenny, thanks for the updates....I have been thinking about you all constantly!
