Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-5:00 pm at Hafemeister's Funeral Home, 611 E. Main St. Watertown, WI. The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, April 23 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ixonia with Rev. Kenneth Ewerdt officiating with visitation an hour before. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Ixonia. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. Matt was an amaing son, brother, husband and now father.

God looked
around His garden
and He found
an empty place.
He then
looked down upon this
Earth, and
saw your tired face.
So He put
His arms around you
and
whispered,
“Come with
me.”
God’s garden
must be beautiful,
He always
takes the best.
With tearful
eyes we watched you
suffer and
saw you fade away.
Although we
loved you dearly,
We could not
make you stay.
It broke our
hearts to lose you but
you didn’t
go alone,
For part of
us went with you
the day God
called you home.
