Hi Matt--I'm a 3 year lung cancer survivor. I'm glad you didn't listen to folks and put the petal to the metal. It sounds like you had a really good time. I wish I could get my Mustang down to Lowe's. My wife and I are great NASCAR fans. I'm glad you got that opportunity. I'm wait for next summer to get my Harley back on the road, that's what I'm dreaming about.

Hi Matt, I've been following from the beginning and thought it was time to let you know we think of you and your family every day and include you in our prayers. So happy for you that you had the opportunity to race your car! Keep up the positive attitude!

I am so happy for you Matt. That was an amazing experience I'm sure. I told my mom and Dale and they were thrilled and I think Dale was a little jealous, lol. He is a huge NASCAR fan himself. You will have to tell me more about it when you return!! Can't wait to hear everything!! =)

I read your story on Nascar.com and followed the link to your blog. Congratulations on your 135 MPH top speed. Keep up the positive attitude it goes a long way. 3 years ago my son Matthew was born with health problems, I kept praying and started a devotion to St Rita (The Saint of the Impossible) and it helped our family make it through the tough times and now everything is good. I will pray to St Rita for you and your family. God Bless.
